Stray kitten found emaciated and wounded with a severe untreated skin condition.
A stray cat was seen wandering around Brewster, Massachusetts for about a week before she approached a local resident and her daughter, clearly needing help. They brought her to an emergency vet in Dennis, who found her emaciated, wounded and suffering from a severe skin condition, and estimated her age at only five or six months.
The emergency clinic could not treat the skin condition and explained that she needs a full veterinary workup, including a physical exam, skin scrape, microchip, spay and follow-up care or medication. The finder cannot afford these costs on her own.
The campaign never gives her a name, so we call her after the town where she was found. We would rather use a place-name than invent one for her.
