Cat · Orange tabby
Lem
Macomb Township, MI
Tumor found in his small intestine; needs resection surgery and oncology care.
Lem is an orange tabby in Macomb Township, Michigan, adopted from a local rescue in 2021 at eight weeks old. He began vomiting intermittently in May, and after three vet visits, labs and X-rays, an ultrasound found a 2cm x 3cm tumor in his small intestine.
He has been referred to an oncologist, with a plan for tumor resection surgery, medication and possibly chemotherapy or radiation. Lem has dropped from nearly 15 pounds to 9.8 pounds, and his owner has already spent about $2,000 reaching the diagnosis.
